More than 5000 players involved in Valencia CF projects over 50 countries
The figures speak for themselves: more than 400 coaches and 5000 players from 55 different countries have taken part in one of the VCF Academy Programs, Valencia CF's programme to spread the club's image and the working methodology of the VCF Academy internationally, the sixth best in Europe in the training of players for the elite, according to the latest report by the CIES Football Observatory.
This VCF Academy Programs project is a finalist for the third consecutive year in the World Football Summit Industry Awards 2023, in the category of Best Internationalisation Strategy by Deloitte, in which Valencia CF is a finalist along with Inter Miami and City Group, in awards that will be presented at the gala on Wednesday 20 September.

"We are very proud of this recognition, we are very happy and it is another example of the good work that is being done at the VCF Academy and at the Ciutat Esportiva all these seasons," explains Joan Aguado, Head of the VCF Academy Programs.
"We have more than 5000 players who have participated in our programmes, both in the activities at our VCF Soccer Academies in America, Asia and Europe and in the VCF Soccer Camps that we do all over the world, as well as the many activities that take place at the Ciutat Esportiva de Paterna where players and coaches come all the time to learn how to work in one of the best Academies in the world," said Aguado.

Players and coaches from 55 countries have participated in recent months in these VCF Academy Programs that spread the image and methodology of Valencia CF around the world. From the USA to Japan, from New Zealand to Canada, from Venezuela, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Morocco or Tanzania, Australia, South Korea, China, Lithuania, United Arab Emirates, Jordan..
